The students in the ESL Listening and Speaking with Technology class, levels 5 and 6, prepared movies to share as part of Leadership and Literacy Week, spring quarter 2013. Each student developed a plan, made video clips and selected photos. Then the students mixed the movies with a new online tool, Animoto, using their iPhones, iPads and laptop computers. The digital stories are based something that they are proud of learning. Special thanks are in order to the volunteers who made this project possible. Rose Zhang worked magic with her computer skills. She helped to organize the project. The beautiful DVD that she created is an example of the expertise she brought to the project. Cathy Smith and Ting Chen helped shoot some of the video clips. Ting also took many excellent photographs.
